Purpose of life
Recently, I found myself pondering one of the most profound and frequently asked questions about life: What is its purpose?
In my quest for answers, I delved into various videos and readings on Hindu philosophy and other schools of thought. Yet, despite all this exploration, I still couldn't find a definitive answer. Perhaps I haven’t read or experienced enough, or maybe the question itself resists a universal solution.
What struck me, however, is the remarkable consistency across many perspectives. Most philosophies suggest that life doesn’t come with an inherent purpose pre-written for us. Instead, we give it meaning through our choices, actions, and experiences.
One common thread I found was the idea that happiness—genuine, lasting happiness—might be the ultimate purpose of life. This happiness isn't necessarily grand or extraordinary; it often resides in the small, everyday acts that bring joy and fulfillment. Helping someone in need, teaching or guiding others, creating something meaningful, or even appreciating the beauty of the moment—these are all ways we can cultivate happiness.
Ultimately, life’s purpose is an evolving journey, not a fixed destination. And perhaps that’s the beauty of it: we have the freedom to define it for ourselves.
we should ask ourself what makes us happy , sometimes even this is difficult to answer, is it money, fame, respect or what?
